3. Faster Payments Service (FPS)

The Faster Payments Service (FPS) is a United Kingdom banking initiative that aims to reduce payment times between customer accounts at different banks within the United Kingdom from the three working days it usually takes to make transfers using the long-established BACS system to just a few seconds. Faster Payments was officially launched on 27 May 2008 to enable fast, easy, and secure payments network and can be compared as the equivalent of the SEPA network in the United Kingdom. It is widely accepted that the transaction limit for Faster Payments is £250,000, although this can be lower depending on the sender or receiver’s bank. At SeifMoney we support FPS payments 24hours a day, 7days a week.
